Happy Spring Break to those that get one :) Avery is super excited to come and spend time with her older siblings (and brother-in-laws) who she looks up to so much. Thanks for having her and making this week special for her.   Last week, durning our Come Follow Me,    Avery shared some thoughts from Elder Bednar’s talk given in 2018 “Meek and Lowly of Heart”.    I wrote down in my scriptures the following quote she shared from Elder Bednar that has helped shed new light on the Christlike attribute of meekness.    Elder Bednar: “Meekness is a defining attribute of the Redeemer and is distinguished by righteous responsiveness, willing submissiveness, and strong self-restraint.”   Consider those three distinguishing features. How can we apply them in our lives? I have always thought of meekness as this “willing submissiveness”, but it has taken on new meaning for me as I consider coupling it with righteous self-restraint.    Here is a promi...
