 9- H ello Family, Miles it was so great to be able to talk with you today. We are so excited you are meeting so many new friends! I asked Elder Miller today how they are contacting all of these people. He said they have been handing our so many Books of Mormon (that was for mama), and that this is the best way to peak peoples interest in their message. 7-   Hello Family, The weeks fly by, and it’s hard to believe Spring is just around the corner. I wanted to just share this one simple thought from our Prophet. This was found in a talk given by him a few years ago titled, Drawing the power of Jesus Christ into our livers. It was part of our Come Follow Me lesson for the week. “When you reach up for the Lord’s power in your life with the same intensity that a drowning person has when grasping and gasping for air, power from Jesus Christ will be yours. When the Savior knows you truly want to reach up to Him- when He can feel that the greatest desire of your heart is to draw His power into your life- you will be led by the Holy Ghost to know exactly what you should do.” We talked tonight about the scripture “many are called, but few are chosen….” , let us all CHOOSE to seek for the power of Jesus Christ in our every day lives. 6-   Hello Family, This week I was studying with the kids, leading up to their missionary retreat, the 1st two chapters of Preach My Gospel. In learning more about the Holy Ghost and His infinite capacity and willingness to influence our lives if we choose to allow Him, took me back to re-read President Nelson’s talk a year or so ago about the importance of having a Firm Foundation. You will remember that talk as he took us on a tour underneath the Salt Lake Temple renovation. Here are a couple of things that really stood out to me in his message.  “My dear brothers and sisters, these are the latter days. If you and I are to withstand the forthcoming perils and  pressures , it is imperative that we each have a firm spiritual foundation built upon the rock of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.
